Conversion of Volta industrial area / Voltan teollisuusalueen muutossuunnitelma
Tallinn, EstoniaWinning entry and a commission for further work achieved from invited competition, which task was to converse the old industrial area into a lively and trendy town district. The historically significant renovated buildings were successfully combined to new urban, historical layers contrasted and creative city structure. In the plan, the car traffic is limited to the fringes, leaving the middle part of the area a natural park-like area.
