Lahti city hospital renovation/ Lahden kaupunginsairaalan uudistaminen

Lahti, Finland

The city hospital converted into an outpatient facility in two phases. The project bring together centralised outpatient appointments, the main healthcare centre’s local clinic, the dental healthcare unit, device maintenance and the laboratory. The same area will also house healthcare services for children and youths, a centralised maternity and contraception clinic and outpatient psychiatric services for adults. Geriatric services and rehabilitation have new areas for pharmaceutical rehabilitation, a geriatric centre, centralised customer service and a unit that provides hospital-level healthcare at home. The entrance lobby renovated, and a new health centre administration unit and entrance from Hämeenkatu were built.

Phase 1 was completed 2017. Phase 2 was completed in spring 2019.
