Järvenpää, FinlandWinning entry of invited competition. Järvenpää Health Station assembles scattered health care and social welfare functions. Health Station works as emergency department and it includes a 50-place hospital ward. Other activities operating in the building are occupational health care unit, prenatal care and dental care, mental health care and treatment of alcoholics. In the middle of the triangle shape deep framed building, there is a cylindrical tower. On the roof top of the tower, there is a recreation yard with a glass roof for acute and rehabilitation-unit patients.
